Downloading MP3 Songs From Grooveshark

A friend of mine recently introduced me to Grooveshark, a website offering streaming radio similar to Pandora but which allows you to specify what song you would like to listen to rather than listening in a guided method as Pandora offers. I wondered if it was possible to save songs which are streamed from Grooveshark.

Xdsl: Using an Original Xbox as a Network Attached Storage Device (NAS), SSH server, BitTorrent client, and more

X-DSL is a Linux distribution for the original Xbox. The old Xbox sells for about $35 on eBay and can be used as an NAS for both IDE and SATA hard drives and can be used as a BitTorrent client. For the sake of brevity, I will assume the Xbox already has XBMC installed and [...]

Why is Halo PC dead? Because there’s an aimbot out there, silly! But how did it get there, and why? And most of all, who is responsible for this? A coder named Bitterbanana was writing a neat Zelda mod for Halo CE that would include Zelda-like aiming, which locks on to the target. Consequently, in [...]

The Con of MobyGames

At first glance, this site looks amazing. Nice layout, easy interface, anyone can add reviews, games that aren’t listed, upload screenshots, covers, contribute trivia, and submit plenty of things to make the database swell with information. MobyGames is the working name of an extremely ambitious project: To meticulously catalog all relevant information about electronic games [...]

Link-Protector Bypass

While surfing, I found a few links going to http://link-protector.com/. The site touts itself as protecting download links from being spread onto other sites and from others knowing the real link. I’m not even sure how this is useful, but nonetheless, it is very simple to remove this ‘protection’. You need FireFox and the Web [...]

Foxconn: A Bad Choice for Vista

I recently received my copy of Windows Vista Business in the mail.
